Woodshop Dust Separation

Description:
This microproposal is a sort-of “add-on” to my Woodshop Extraction Proposal.
This proposal is to try out inserting a dust separator just upwind of the extractor. These things theoretically drop 95% of the dust drawn through them into a bucket, so that it never reaches the extractor itself.
Hopefully this means easier emptying, no clogged filters, and no gradual reduction in suction power.
Proposed Purchase:
The proposal consists two things: - [[https://www.rutlands.com/sp+dust-collection-dust-separators-dust-separator-kits-dust-separator-kit-rutlands%C2%AE+r8549|A dust separator “kit”]] - basically a pair of flanges that you attach to the lid of a sealed bucket. - [[https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-fermenting-bin-lid-25l/p/0022555|A cheap bucket with a well-fitting lid from wilkos]].
